Please sleep in your OWN bed!!

When Noah was born, it was all a little unexpected and pretty traumatic for little miss Hannah. Since he came home, she has been sleeping on the floor in our room or in our bed! We tried a few times to get her to sleep in her room but she would swear that there were "Bugs and Ghosts" in her room! Silly girl, I don't know how she came up with that?! So when Noah turned 7 months I decided that it was WAY past time for her to learn to sleep in her own room, in her own bed, without mommy.

We were on our weekly grocery shopping trip when Hannah decided she wanted a "Dora singing toy". She wanted it so bad she couldn't stand it! That is when I took her home and we made a chart. After 4 days of sleeping in her "big girl bed" and STAYING in it all night, she could get her toy.

SHE DID IT! She went 4 nights (all night) in her big girl bed all by herself! We immediately went to the store Friday morning to claim her prize. Sad part is, they didn't have any "Dora singing toys". She didn't mind all that much when she found a really pretty Barbie and a really cool ball. We went to my (old) work and told EVERYONE there what she had did and why she had a new Barbie! She was so excited and I am so proud!
